Information About Google Chrome

...

What is Google Chrome and what does it do?
Google Chrome is a web browser developed by Google, compiled based on open-source components such as the WebKit rendering engine and application development structure.
What is Google Chrome Web Browser?
Google Chrome is the most widely used and preferred web browser on the internet, currently holding a market share of 65.89% according to Statcounter, and it is available for free. The name of the browser is derived from the term used for the graphical user interface framework.
Chromium Project
Chromium is the free software project behind Google Chrome. Part of the project, developed by Google, is under the BSD usage license. Other parts of the project are subject to various permissive open-source licenses, including the MIT License, Ms-PL, and the triple MPL/GPL/LGPL license. The primary goal of this project is to provide a browser that offers more stability, speed, and security while also delivering a simple and efficient user interface. Chromium is a basic browser with the same design features as Chrome but with a different logo, and it lacks the commercial and technical support from the Google company. The first beta version of the Chromium browser was released on September 2, 2008. Later, the 1.0 version of the browser was publicly released on December 11, 2008. The Chromium browser is available in over 50 languages for Microsoft Windows platforms.
Chrome History
Google Chrome was officially released on September 2, 2008. It started as a beta version in 43 languages for Microsoft Windows and quickly approached nearly 1% of the browser market. On September 2, all content transmitted with the Chrome browser was licensed to Google for a section of the terms of service focusing on the first beta version. However, a section of the general terms of service of Google was mistakenly included in the terms of service section. Google clarified on the same day that the text was accidentally taken from other products and added to the service section, and this section was removed. As a result, there were concerns about whether the browser transmitted information to Google and what kind of information was sent.
Features
Security and Stability
Among the primary goals in designing the browser were to enhance the security, speed, and stability beyond what existing browsers offered. Significant changes were also made in the user interface. Chrome was created from 26 different Google code libraries and third-party software like Netscape.
Speed
Many websites conducted performance tests using benchmark tools for JavaScript and Google's proprietary computation tests involving ray tracing and restriction solutions. Consequently, it was reported that Chrome performed much faster compared to competitors such as Safari, Firefox, and Internet Explorer.
